Bamboo Nest is a charming
bamboo guesthouse set amidst the mountains of
Chiang Rai. We offer you the opportunity for
a peaceful relaxing vacation and a chance to
reconnect with fundamental life.
Located on an idyllic hillside 23 kilometers
from Chaing Rai city and just 200 meters from
a Lahu village, with great views over the mountains
and terraced rice paddies, the Bamboo Nest redefines
charm and style. Away from the pressures of
day to day life and electricity, you can wake
to the sweet sound of birds in the morning and
go to sleep under the sparkling brilliant beauty
of stars and moonlight at night.
During the day we can arrange a wide variety
of activities for you, choose from sedate bamboo
weaving to adventurous trekking in non-tourist
areas, all with English speaking |

guides. Alternatively, if there is something
special you want to do or see we can probably
organize that too! Then again, you could make
your own arrangements, or you might want to
just sit, relax and absorb the serene environment.

Restaurant.
Bamboo Nest has an open-air
restaurant with panoramic views of the mountains
and terraced rice paddies. We offer an extensive
menu serving daily breakfast and a la carte
food comprising of international cuisine and
traditional Thai favourites.
Opening hours
are from 7.30 am until 10 pm.
Accommodation .
Bamboo Nest offers a range
of simple, comfortable and uniquely styled bamboo
cottages built by local craftsmen in natural
locally sourced sustainable materials.
Following the wisdom of the native people, each
cottage has bamboo flooring, walls and thatched
roof. All have private bathrooms with hot showers,
comfortable beds (with mosquito nets), and floor
to ceiling windows to enjoy the spectacular
views. All of them have their own private balcony
with bench and hammock.
